COLLETTE WELTY
Collette Welty began her dance training at the age of 3 with the Houston Ballet Academy. Her love for dance became her passion at the age of 13. She has performed with Ballet Bellevue, Bellevue WA as well as completed Summer Intensive under the direction of Ron Tice & Magali Messac. Founded in 1974 Pacific Northwest Ballet School ( formerly Ballet Bellevue), is recognized as one of the top three ballet training institutions in the United States. Collette also completed Intensive Training with Eugene Ballet, Eugene Oregon, Still Pointe Dance, Grants Pass, OR under the direction of Penny King & Sylvia Bolton, Heartland School of Dance, Grants Pass OR, Nancy Gordon, Founder/Director, Intensive with Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Ashland Oregon, Ballet Austin, Austin TX, Ruidoso Dance Conservatory Ruidoso NM, Debra Rogers, Director, School of Dance, Alamogordo, NM , Monique Foster Director, as well as completing a Master Class with the Moscow Ballet. Collette currently performs as a guest dancer and guest instructor with the School of Classical Ballet and Dance, in Gruene, TX. Collette has performed such roles at Princess Aurora in "Sleeping Beauty," The Enchanted Garden Fairy Colante' " Sleeping Beauty". "The Gypsy in " Raymonda," Arabian, The Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy & The Sugar Plum Fairy in "The Nutcracker".
